Birthdays and Holidays

Birthdays

Birthdays are an exciting time.  We are happy to recognize this special date. Students are welcome to celebrate their birthdays with a small gift, such as birthday pencils, a board game, playdough, book, playground game, or art material etc... for the class.

It is not against the school policy to bring in a food treat, however, due to COVID, allergies and other health concerns, I would prefer airing on the side of caution and ask that a small gift be sent in instead. I will be happy to accommodate you.
If you are having a party at home and invitations need to be distributed, invitations need to be made out for all of the children in the class. If you will not be inviting all of the children, please mail them or find other avenues for delivering the invitations.

Currently, there are 12 students in our classroom.

Celebrations
Celebrations are recognized in individual classrooms.  Our celebrations are modest and we try our best to incorporate it into our day to maintain the daily routines.  If food is involved, we will inform you as to some of the items that will be served.  Some celebrations observed are Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Winter Holidays.  Sometimes food will be sent home so that you may choose to give to your child at your leisure.  If at any time you wish your child to not partake or eat certain foods please let me know.  Thank you.
